Our Thermal Transfer Labels are on a permanent label stock. The thermal paper (non-top coated) label is backed with a rubber-based, general purpose adhesive, and a 2.5 mil kraft release liner. Standard overall thickness: approximately 6.0 mils (18 gms/sq).
Thermal Labels print using a thermal transfer ribbon. The resulting resin or waxed-based image is more permanent than Direct Thermal Printing. For ribbonless, Direct Thermal Transfer Labels, click here.
