Our Direct Thermal Transfer Labels are on a permanent label stock. The direct thermal paper (non-top coated) label is backed with a rubber-based, general purpose adhesive, and a 2.5 mil kraft release liner.
Direct Thermal Labels print without the use of a ribbon. The printer’s thermal unit images directly to the label. Direct thermal printing is designed for short-duration applications in dry environments. For indirect Thermal Transfer Labels that require printing ribbons, click here.
