New president brings over a decade of experience to Woodstock, Ill.-based specialty paper and print products supply company
Gopal Iyengar, a veteran of the paper and packaging industry with 12 years of operations, management, financial and technical consulting experience, has been named president of Guys E. Paper, LLC, a Woodstock, IL-based paper supply company specializing in carbonless paper and custom perforation services.
Iyengar’s experience includes a wide array of manufacturing operations and product development roles with a focus on strategic planning, innovation and lean management.
At Guys E. Paper, he will oversee the company’s continued growth as a supplier of specialty papers and supplies for the printing industry, especially in the high-demand areas of medical and food industry print needs.

Iyengar says consolidation is an ongoing challenge in the print industry but the growth opportunities remain for companies that can innovate and take advantage of complementary markets and specialty products.

Iyengar has a dozen years of direct operations and people-centric lean management experience and has served in roles that include five years as global technology development manager for Stora Enso, five years as business innovations manager at NewPage Corporation, and five years in various roles for Consolidated Papers, Inc.
Iyengar has also served in numerous business development, sales and strategy and technical consulting roles, most recently as a senior consultant for Fisher International Inc.
He holds an MBA with an emphasis on finance from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an M.S. from Western Michigan University in Chemical Engineering and Paper.
