DesignSecure Basketweave security paper offers unique security features designed specifically to protect secure documents against the threat of cut and paste forgery, chemical alteration and high technology counterfeiting. Our tamper proof paper uses a combination of the original security features developed in 1871 and modern sophisticated security innovations to provide advanced document protection.

Simpson’s unique technology provides cut and paste protection through perfect front to back registration. This product is chemically sensitive to a variety of document altering chemicals including polar and non-polar solvents. This feature produces a visible stain or starburst reaction on the paper when altering chemicals are applied. When bleach and ink eradicators are applied the colored pattern will disappear. Invisible fluorescent fibers are also scattered throughout this sheet providing true document authentication as well as covert protection against copiers and scanners. These fluorescent fibers can be seen with the use of an ultraviolet light (black light) in all 7 Basketweave security paper colors.

DesignSecure is available in seven standard colors: blue, green, pink, tan, true blue, slate, and yellow. Custom colors are available upon request. This product is stocked in the Basketweave pattern and is also available in our standard patterns of Straight Line, Wavy Line, and Locking “L”. Custom patterns incorporating symbols, patterns or logotypes can be added for prestige and increase security to documents.

SafetySecure

SafetySecure™ the traditional white security paper provides a versatile blend of security features for today’s dynamic secure document industry. This product has been engineered for excellent security, printability and durability in a variety of printing applications and is the ideal tamper proof paper.

SafetySecure™ provides protection against a range of document altering chemicals including bleaches, polar solvents and non-polar solvents. These features produce a visible stain or starburst reaction on the paper when document altering chemicals are applied.

This product is UV dull, containing no added or residual optical brighteners. This feature provides a non-reflective base sheet for optimum contrast for use with fluorescent inks.

SafetySecure products contain invisible fluorescent fibers that become visible when viewed under an ultraviolet light source (black light). This feature provides covert protection from counterfeiting because the fibers do not copy or scan and will not be visible in a counterfeit document.

TonerSecure is yet another standard feature included in SafetySecure™. With standard office papers, poor toner adhesion allows original information to be removed with tape, scraping or repeated folding. TonerSecure provides a strong deterrent for this type of alteration. Engineered to enhance the bond between the paper and toner, making this type of alteration much more difficult. This covert security feature does not impact the visible appearance of the paper.

SafetySecure™ provides excellent performance in a variety of printing applications including MICR/OCR, digital, laser, web and sheet fed offset, intaglio, foil stamping and engraving. VoidSecure

VoidSecure is our most technically advanced security paper. This product combines the features of our traditional Basketweave security paper with a hidden pantograph to provide an extra layer of security. When our Basketweave or solid colored security paper is photocopied the words “Void” and “VoidSecure” will appear on the photocopy leaving the copied document null/void.*

This product contains invisible fluorescent security fibers that can be seen with an ultra violet light source (black light). These fibers cannot be copied or scanned and will not appear on the copied document providing covert protection. VoidSecure is engineered to be UV dull to enhance the appearance of the invisible fluorescent security fibers as well as providing optimum contrast for the printers use of specialty inks.

VoidSecure is chemically sensitive to a variety of document altering chemicals including bleach, ink eradicators, polar solvents and non-polar solvents. This feature provides a visible stain or starburst reaction on the paper when document altering chemicals are applied.

TonerSecure is yet another standard feature included in VoidSecure. This feature enhances the bond between the paper and toner; attempts to remove printed images by scraping, tape pull or folding/creasing will damage the paper surface, revealing the alteration. This covert security feature will not impact the visible appearance of the paper.

VoidSecure is manufactured with an artificial watermark on the back of the sheet. This watermark can be seen by holding the sheet at an angle where you can see a stamp mark image of VoidSecure. This artificial watermark can also be validated by rubbing the edge of a coin along the back of the sheet for the image to appear. This feature can be customized to use a company logo or custom images which is ideal for custom business forms.

VoidSecure meets the requirements for Tamper Resistant Prescriptions set by CMS Guidelines. VoidSecure tamper proof paper provides excellent performance in a variety of printing applications including MICR/OCR, digital, laser, sheet fed offset, intaglio, foil stamping and engraving.  This product is certified by HP and Canon.

True Watermark

True Watermark security paper is engineered and manufactured with six essential security features during the paper mill process. The combination of these security features makes it basically impossible for True Watermark to be duplicated, therefore certifying the original document.

The genuine Fourdrinier watermark cannot be reproduced by fraudulent activity, as the watermark resides only in the original document. Blue security fibers are clearly visible on the surface of the paper while green fluorescent fibers are embedded into the sheet and are only visible when using a UV black light.

True Watermark security paper provides protection against a variety of document altering chemicals. If an attempt is made to alter the original document with oxidants, polar, non-polar solvents, acids or alkali chemicals, a permanent chemical stain reaction will appear on the surface of the document.

Manufactured as UV dead security paper, this product will provide a non-reflective base sheet for optimum contrast when using fluorescent inks during the printing process. Another security feature included is toner adhesion which protects the original document against forgers attempting to lift ink with tape, scraping with a knife blade or repeated folding.
